Eagle Fun Days Announce ‘Shocking’ Major Change Coming in 2025

Summer just wouldn't be the same in the Treasure Valley without a handful of signature events that define how we roll around here! One of those events? Eagle Fun Days! An annual weekend celebration in the heart of Eagle that features one of the best parades around!

Recently announced changes will have Eagle Fun Days looking differently this year and it's causing a polarizing debate online.

Which side are you on surrounding fireworks? Some love them, others hate them!

Officials from the City of Eagle wrote in their media release:

Updated insurance requirements for this year exceeded the City’s current coverage and - at a cost of nearly four times the price of the fireworks - is an amount far outside of the event budget

And continued.. 

As a result, a fireworks show will not be part of the 2025 Eagle Fun Days. However, the City remains committed to providing a safe and enjoyable event with a variety of family-friendly entertainment options.

While we appreciate the transparency and certainly understand that a cost increasing four times over is LESS THAN IDEAL--we've got to be honest, we'll miss the fireworks too.

Perhaps if the community wants to see their return so badly, some sort of crowd-funding effort could be made. Save the fireworks!

Eagle Fun Days returns to the Treasure Valley this summer, from June 27th until the 28th.
