Elf on the Shelf Idea: Brush Your Teeth, Kids

When it comes to these Elf on the Shelf setups, it's all about sending a message to our kids. My son will actually wet his toothbrush and say he brushed his teeth. I thought that was only done in movies. Guess not. This is a message from Santa through the elf. 

Supplies:

• Dog ornament (to mimic my son's life so it's recognizable)
• Converse shoes - were keychains
• My son's travel toothpaste

Did it work? Yep.

The elf was sitting in the bathroom and so when my son said he had brushed his teeth, we knew he hadn't done it because he would have mentioned seeing his elf, Chippy.

CAUGHT!

Every morning since, brushing his teeth hasn't been an issue.
