We're thankful for this skillful team with the Boise Police Department!

In a statement released by the Boise Police Department about the incident, the following summary was given:

While serving a search warrant on Alfred Court, our Neighborhood Contact Officers uncovered suspected narcotics, drug paraphernalia—and multiple suspected improvised explosive devices. Thanks to the quick thinking of our officers, BPD’s Bomb Squad was called out and neighbors were told to shelter in place. Due to the suspected volatility of the devices and out of concern for the safety of the neighborhood and our officers, members of the Bomb Squad safely analyzed the unknown hazardous devices and transported them to a safer location at the police training facility south of town. Using their specialized training, the squad built counter charges and remotely conducted a controlled detonation to safely render the devices harmless

We have also learned the the Boise Police Department made two arrests in the incident that ended safely for all.
