FFS… Idaho Is Still Googling What These Text Abbreviations Mean

The interesting thing about Idaho is sometimes it feels like it's own little corner of the world. Lots of things happen here that wouldn't happen anywhere else and new comers are often surprised by that. A lot of things are unique about Idaho and that even includes the phrases and the lingo that happen here.

Maybe you've heard your own kids use the funny phrases and words that come along with being online because we certainly have heard these terms dropped a few times. While they seem quite funny some also have a meaning that may not always be too appropriate. Because of this teachers across the country have taken a stand against brain rot and added these words to a list. The list is of words not allowed in the classroom and we wouldn't be surprised if these lists were actively being used around classrooms in Idaho.

Funny words aren't even all of it when it comes to Idaho. There's so many different abbreviations and expressions that it could be hard to keep up with and know what everyone is talking about.

Sometimes due to the amount of interesting language used people can be confused when certain abbreviations are used. Of course most of the time this happens online and during messages but sometimes people even use abbreviations in real life. It's not unlikely to hear someone yelling "OMG" when walking around in Boise. But Idahoans can't always keep up with it all which is why phrases like "IMO" and "OTP" are getting looked up online along with a bunch of others.
