Popular Pizza Joint Steps Up Big for Idaho's Federal Workers

Local business meets local SUPPORT thanks to Flying Pie's latest promotion.

If you've ever driven past a Flying Pie and seen a random name on their street sign--it's time you know that someone is having a GREAT DAY! When your name makes the cut, you are entitled to one free 10-inch specialty or 10-inch custom pizza that YOU get to make...IN THE KITCHEN!

If you're new to the area, this concept may be totally new to you. As for us long-time Boiseans, we've seen it for years.

Instead of posting up a name yesterday, October 29th, Flying Pie stepped up in a big way for some federal workers that are pretty essential in Boise--and are going through a rather unique situation: not getting paid during a government shut down.

Air Traffic Controllers — today’s your day! You keep the skies safe and the flights on time — now it’s your turn to land a FREE 10" pizza at Flying Pie!

Want to participate? We've got the 'official rules' from Flying Pie, here:

1. Ya gotta have I.D. when you order in the store or come in to pick up your pie.
2. There are specific times where this happens (for making pizzas in the kitchen)
3. This is not an entitlement! You are a guest and must oblige to what the crews say.
4. If you behave inappropriately or disrespectfully, we may have to throw you out.
5. No open toe shoes will be allowed in our kitchens. Long hair must be pulled back.
6. You can bring ONE friend or family member to join you in the kitchen.

Ready to make your own pie a the iconic Flying Pie here in the Treasure Valley? You're able to do so on YOUR DAY from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 pm. and from 8:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.
