Just yesterday I wrote an article about how the Treasure Valley is constantly looking for an opportunity to make a positive difference and a mere 24 hours later here is yet another perfect example. If you know a family that is struggling and can use a food box or two please share this with them ASAP.

The Idaho Foodbank, St. Vincent de Paul and the USDA have come together do donate free food to families in need today Thursday, June 25 in Boise. All you need to do is show up, this is a no questions asked situation. The event goes from 3pm-8pm in the Expo Idaho parking lot on North Glenwood Street.

According to ktvb each household will receive 2 boxes of food containing: milk, butter, cheese and cooked meats along with a variety of fresh fruits and veggies. Remember this is only happening till 8pm tonight so you must act quickly. To the fine people at The Idaho Foodbank, St. Vincent de Paul and the USDA, I send a warm and much deserved salute.
