These days, it seems that everything is just a little bit more expensive that it needs to be and certainly more than it was. With COVID-19 in our rearview mirrors, it often feels like the economy went for a roller coaster ride that never really returned back to normal.

Now, folks all over the Treasure Valley, just like people all over the world, are finding themselves taken extra steps to make ends meet.

Sometimes when you find places to cut cost-- it ends up coming from something you don't need at the moment but may need down the road. Something like health insurance.

No insurance? No problem--at least for this week at Central District Health.

Taking place on Friday, June 28th from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. is a FREE health screening clinic, open to the public, and no insurance is required.

This is going to be a really great opportunity to help get screenings to folks who couldn't normally afford them or may never think about going to get them.

Individuals can be screened in English and Spanish for the following:

  • Cholesterol screening
  • Blood pressure screening
  • Triglyceride Screening
  • Hemoglobin screening
  • A1c Screening
  • Glucose screening
  • Weight and height screening

Having these resources available to the community is really important, so we're thankful to Central District Health for doing this.

If you're busy this week--these take place on the last Friday of every month, all year long.
