Free Parking Day in Downtown Boise this Weekend

For someone like me that loves Downtown Boise but hates trying to parallel park, this is the BEST DAY EVER!

Kekeluv will probably agree when I say, I'm not a good driver.  I still remember one Friday night when I met him and Lucky Tha DJ at Bad Irish (where Fork is now) and everyone watched me miserably fail trying to parallel park across the street from the bar.  When I got out of the car, it wasn't just the guys laughing at me...it was the entire patio.  In full disclosure, we didn't have to parallel park to pass your driver's test in Ohio and I DID fail the comparable maneuverability test the first time.  So needless to say, I avoid trying to find street parking downtown.

That's why I'm so excited for Saturday! Capital City Development Corporation, Republic Parking, The Car Park and Diamond Parking Services are teaming up to provide FREE parking in some of the garages and surface lots downtown from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
