G-Eazy Performs Two New Songs With Cardi B and Halsey at New Orleans Show
During a stop on the Bud Light Dive Bar Tour in New Orleans on Wednesday night (Aug. 30), G-Eazy performed not one but two new, unreleased songs.
First up for the Oakland rapper was a yet-to-be-released track with Cardi B called “No Limit.” G-Eazy brought out the “Bodak Yellow” artist so she could perform her hit song before the two premiered their upcoming record, which is believed to be coming out next week.
But the biggest moment of the night was when the rapper invited Halsey to perform their collab “Him & I,” another yet-to-be-released song. “We got that love, the crazy kind/I am his, and he is mine,” Halsey sings on the track. Following the performance of the song, the two reportedly began making out onstage for several seconds. “Give it up for Halsey, that’s my boo,” G-Eazy apparently told the crowd.
It’s uncertain if Halsey and G-Eazy are dating, but before the show the rapper praised the singer’s skills, telling Fuse, “I've wanted to work with Halsey for a long time. I think she's an incredibly talented artist who has accomplished so much at such a young age. She's one of the biggest artists in the whole world. At 22 years old, that's pretty phenomenal.”
The 28-year-old rapper also spoke about their upcoming single, describing it as a “Bonnie and Clyde song.” He went on to say, “It's a pretty intense, crazy in love song. She killed the record. She sounds phenomenal on it. I'm excited to share that experience onstage with her live one on one because she's a great performer.”
Since the release of his third studio album, When It’s Dark Out, in 2015, G-Eazy has remained busy, releasing a number of new songs in 2017. In May, the rapper dropped four tracks to celebrate his birthday and teamed up with Cassie in August for her comeback song, “Love a Loser.” He also announced his next album, The Beautiful & Damned, would be out this fall.
