The Boise State Broncos are headed to the Las Vegas Bowl, are you? The Broncos squeaked by a win against Fresno State in the Mountain West Championship game Saturday and that puts the BSU in Las Vegas against the Oregon Ducks.

The last time the Broncos took on the Ducks was on the blue turf and held Chip Kelly's debut for one touchdown. We often forget what kind of team the Boise State Broncos were back in 2009 when the two met.

Coach Peterson was the head coach.
Coach Harsin was the offensive coordinator for BSU (surprise).
Kellen Moore and heisman nominee was at QB.
Chip Kelly was in his first year at Oregon.
BSU was ranked #16 and the Ducks #14.
BSU would run the table and go undefeated including the 17-10 win over TCU in the Fiesta Bowl.
BSU would end the season ranked #4.
The Broncos had Kellen Moore, Kyle Wilson, Kyle Brotzman, Ryan Winterswyk, Jeron Johnson, Billy Winn, Doug Martin, Austin Pettis, Titus Young, Jeremy Avery, and Dj Harper to name a few.

That was a long time ago! You can even go back a year earlier when Kellen Moore was a freshman QB and the Broncos took them out in Eugene. That said, two totally different squads now. Coach Pete is a Husky and Chip Kelly just accepted the UCLA gig.
