Eyes from all over the globe are still watching Idaho as the legal proceedings continue and truly--have hardly begun--following the arrest of Bryan Kohberger. Kohberger was arrested as the sole suspect in the quadruple homicide that happened just steps from the University of Idaho's campus. Four students, murdered, in the quiet of night.

The trial, which has been set to begin in the summer of 2025 was recently moved to Boise from Moscow, Idaho, after the court approved a change of venue.

We knew at one point in time that the Idaho Supreme Court would need to place the trial somewhere that had a larger jury pool--and there were only a few options:

It came as no surprise that Ada County was chosen.

Ada County is the largest county in the State of Idaho. If the concern around a fair trail was not being able to find a proper jury due to intense and constant media coverage of this case--it was really the only option.

The family of one of the victims has not missed a single court hearing--and has no plans to do so. They want justice served and want to be there for their late daughter.

With the trial having been moved, there are now significant travel costs associated for them to get to the hearings--and a 'GoFundMe' has been launched.

A portion of the fundraiser reads:

As many of you have read in the news, the Idaho Four murder case has been recently moved to Ada County, down by Boise, Idaho. Kaylee‘s family has not missed one hearing or any court appointment since this has started and they would like to continue to attend all of them, even though it is now in Boise. Now that the trial is looking like it will be in June of next year, the estimates are that it will last about three months. We are looking to find an Airbnb or a house for rent that will house all 10 Goncalves family members as well as their small pets for at least those three months.

At the time of publishing, the fundraiser is just shy of $30,000 and has a set goal of $50,000.
