Here’s Why You’ll Want to Avoid the Boise DMV on Friday

Need to visit the Ada County DMV on Friday? You're going to be on your own.

We mean that literally. The Ada County DMV in Boise will be closed Friday, because they're relocating. The branch is currently located on Benjamin Lane will close at 5 p.m. on Thursday. It'll reopen at its new location 8655 W. Franklin Road Monday morning.

If you're in dire need of a driver's license, ID card, or permit, you can get that handled at the Ada County Sheriff’s Office. If you need to register and/or title your vehicle and simply can't wait until next week, you can visit the DMV in Meridian, Garden City, and Star. They'll all be open at normal business hours on Friday.
