Hidden Beach In Idaho? Viral Video Sparks Controversy

The best time of year in Boise is almost here! In our opinion, there is no better season in Boise than summer. The weather will finally be warming back up and it will be nice outside, the flowers have all bloomed, and thankfully our days of snow in Boise are far behind us until next winter. No matter what season Boise is in, it is always beautiful however we take an extra liking to this time of year in the city.

So much so that all of the best summer activities are blowing up online. People are raving about the Green Acres Food Truck Park, all of the lakes, and even the hiking trails. But when one Idahoan posted about their "favorite Idaho beach" viewers were skeptical about what they were seeing.

The video features a beach much like one you would find if you went to Hawaii or Southern California with bright blue water and palm trees. The video certainly doesn't look like it was taken in Blackfoot, Idaho and the comment section seems to agree.

Most likely, this video was a harmless prank but the prank didn't go over well with Idaho viewers. Many people did not pick up on the fact that it was a joke and were quick to let everyone know that this certainly was not filmed in Idaho.

While this would be the ultimate Idaho summer trip, you're going to have to leave Idaho in order to find this lovely little beach spot.
