High School Football Kicks Off This Week

As I was driving downtown from our office yesterday, which is located on Park Center Boulevard, I realized that there was an abnormal amount of pedestrians over on Broadway Avenue. As I got closed to Donna Larson Park, I remembered WHY there were people walking all over the place: high school football.

It's back for another season and students, players, parents, and alumi alike are all very excited to see their teams take the field! It's crazy to think that it's already that time of the year when it feels like Summer had just began.

Being a graduate of Bishop Kelly myself, I'm always ready to cheer on my Knights. Bishop Kelly has over the years, been a local football power house-- I only played for a year before I got tired of being knocked around in the grass--but I do credit the amazing structure and support from the BK community for the programs success.  In my world tonight, I'll be watching for twitter updates on Nampa High School vs. Bishop Kelly High School! Go Knights!
