Did You Know? Olympic US Gold Medalist Is A Boise State Alumni

Boise State pushes out some crazy good athletes this is not new. We've been cheering on Broncos who move on to professional sports for years. Currently, Kellen Moore is the head coach of the New Orleans Saints in the NFL and Ashton Jeanty just had a fantastic rookie season.

We knew that these athletes were broncos and have been cheering them on since their days at Boise State. but there's another athlete that went to Boise State that you may not have known about.

Hilary Knight is technically a Boise State Alumni! Unfortunately she never played hockey in Boise for the Broncos but she did complete her Online MBA with Boise State!

Hilary Knight was one of, if not THE, biggest name at the winter olympics this year competing for the Women's USA Hockey Team. She had an outstanding performance in the Winter Olympics in Milan this year. She ended up helping the USA Women's Hockey Team to win the gold medal for hockey. She even scored the game tying goal with just 2 minutes left in regulation to win the game!

Hilary Knight will go down in Olympic History as one of the best female hockey players of all time. She is now appearing everywhere! Since winning the Olympic Gold she has appeared on SNL and The Tonight Show

Congratulations to Hilary Knight and the rest of the USA Women's Olympic Hockey Team for winning gold!
