The finale event for the Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic is tonight in Ann Morrison Park. There will be morning launches Saturday and Sunday with upwards to 50 to blanket the Boise Skyline. Tonight's event will definitely be a photo op for days!

The Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic prides itself on family and fun. There will be no shortage this weekend so let's get to some photos and what to expect.

The Friday Night Glow will last four hours that includes great food from various food trucks, live band, a family celebration with the kids dance party by the balloons and finale Night Glow. There could be upwards to 20,000 Idahoans coming through the park tonight so be prepared. I just check the Facebook page and 35,000 were interested. This will be a fun and free event. This is becoming a tradition for families across the Treasure Valley.

Festivities begin at 6 p.m. which is basically just hanging out, grabbing food, listening to music with a live band, and taking photos with various groups like the 501st Legion. Tons of souvenirs to get for the kids and it's great just to find a spot for the Night Glow portion of the evening.

The Night Glow begins when the sun dips behind the mountains and the synchronized music starts. The heat from the fire to the balloons gets pretty hectic so they can't burn all night. There is a designated time that those balloons burn and everything is to music. Make sure to have a phone or camera-ready as the light from the balloons will be bright enough for photos. I'll post up photos below of what to expect. Need a map? I'll add that to the gallery.

See you tonight 🎈
