So, just how diverse is Idaho when it comes to demographics? According to World Population Review, Idaho's makeup is as such in 2024:
- Caucasian: 85%
- Hispanic or Latino: 13%
- Asian: 1%
- Native American: 1%
- African American: > 1%
- Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander: > 1%
Now, compared to the United States as a whole, those numbers look very different:
- Caucasian: 59%
- Hispanic or Latino: 19%
- African American: 13%
- Asian: 6%
- Native American: 3%
- Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander: > 1%
You can clearly see that things in Idaho are vastly different from the United States when you average out the numbers.
The good news is, more and more people from all over the country are seeking out Idaho as their new home, and we very much look forward to meeting our new neighbors, no matter where they come from!
