How Do These States Have More Licensed Hunters Than Idaho?
There are few things that Idahoans love more than craft beer, hiking, dogs and complaining about the weather. One of them, however, might just be hunting.
Here in Idaho, it seems like everyone hunts and it's just something that everyone picks up as a kid. For the many thousand that have moved into the state, you have to wonder if that is a culture shock. In fact, many women often complain here in Idaho that every guy on dating sites and dating apps only has pictures of them holding up dead animals or dead fish.
So where does Idaho rank among hunters? Well, in terms of land, there is no way that any state has the State of Idaho beat. With vast forests, mountains, hills and some of the best wildlife and outdoor "scenes" on the globe--Idaho is any hunter's dream. But are there places that like to hunt more than Idaho?
Yes, yes there are. Ranked by percentage of residents that are licensed hunters, a total of FOUR states edged out Idaho. What!?
