If I've said it once, I've said it one million times: adopting my sweet Piccolo cat will always be one of the greatest decisions of my life.  It's scary how much this little creature has grown into my mini-me. Perhaps that has something to do with adopting her when she was only 5-weeks old. Now, she's my companion at home that gets literally ALL of my attention and has been with me through thick and thin.

When I saw that the Idaho Humane Society is working to get free cat adoptions to senior citizens in our community, my heart totally melted. What an awesome idea. Seniors may experience more loneliness than most and amid a global pandemic, regular activities for them, the most vulnerable, and almost sure to be canceled.

For seniors that are 60 years old or older, adoption of a cat 1 year old or older is FREE at the Humane Society!
