The internet is a strange place and the 'Idaho Internet', if you will, is no more normal. There's always something going on online--whether it's a debate about traffic laws or politics--people here in Idaho have opinions online and if you're not careful, you can get yourself sucked into a good old fashioned 'Facebook Fight'!

One thing that can bring people together? Also, the internet. We're thankful to report that today, the internet here in Idaho is coming together for what has become one of the sweetest things we've seen all year.

Take a look at the moment that we are so glad was captured on camera, right here in Idaho

Is this not the kindest thing you have seen all week!?

The photos are exactly what they look like--a police officer in Jerome, Idaho, was captured stopping by an elderly residents' lawn while on patrol--to help out.

Jerome Police Department recapped on Facebook:

Officer Gonzalez isn't the kind of person that would ever tell on himself, so we are thankful we have the public to watch for us.  Earlier today, one of our worlds greatest followers, noticed a JPD Patrol Vehicle parked in the driveway of a home.  Upon closer inspection, they observed Officer Gonzalez - in full uniform, mowing the lawn for the resident.
The police department went on to thank Officer Gonzalez, writing:
Officer Gonzalez, thank you for representing JPD in a positive light, and helping us continue to build the best relationships!
