Idaho Foodies Are Angry After Seeing Boise Snubbed on Major List

Boise was recently put on the list of one of the best places to move for young people, one of the best places to retire, and one of the safest places to live. Idaho was even recently put on the list of the best places to live if you want to live off the grid. As of right now for the year 2025 Idaho is the 12th best state to live in if you want to live off the grid.

Sadly, somehow Boise was recently snubbed from one of these lists and it was the Healthiest Cities in America list. Then Boise was featured on the list of the most obese and overweight cities in the country.

The blows just keep coming as Boise was featured extremely low on a list that everyone would expect themselves to be higher on.

One of the best parts about living in Boise is all of the local businesses and because of that people to seem to thrive here and have an extremely healthy amount of places to eat.

This results in foodie accounts on Instagram absolutely thriving and it seems that everyone wants to try all of the food options that are available. Somehow despite all of that Boise was only ranked at number 130 in the top foodie cities in the country.

This of course feels almost like an injustice to Boise as a lot of people feel like this is one of the best places for foodies to thrive. Check out the full list here.
