There's no more chance of me winning any free food in the Old Chicago College Hoops challenge.  For the first year in many years, I have no teams left in the NCAA Final Four. And as much as I would love nothing more than to see Mateo's face light up if his Zags make it to the finals...there's really not much reason for me to watch basketball on Saturday.  Or is there?

As a proud Idahoan, there actually is! Sure, the Vandals weren't the tourney picture and Boise State didn't make it far in the NIT...but it turns out the Gem State will still be represented in the Final Four! According to the Idaho Statesman, United Service Inc Flooring is the company that was chosen to construct this year's flooring for this weekend's game in Glendale, Arizona.  The company was founded by a Shelley, ID and is currently based not far away from Shelley in Idaho Falls.

It's a five month process from when the maple wood is harvested in Michigan to when it's finished, painted and stained in Idaho Falls. After that it was shipped and installed at University of Phoenix Stadium to be assembled.

United Services has a long history with being part of the NCAA tournament.  They also finished the floors for the 2014 NCAA National Championship in North Texas.

Wanna see the Idaho finished NCAA tourney floors on the big screen? Join Mateo at "The Tailgate" as he cheers on his Zags at 4:09 on Saturday night! He'll be hosting the party with some amazing drink specials! If they win, he'll be sticking around for all the shots (drinks, not baskets) during the Ducks game at 6:49!
