Idaho Internet Can’t Stop Laughing at 2 Local April Fools’ Pranks

The annual 'celebration' of pranks and laughter can bring out the worst in people--especially if they are the ones on the receiving end of the pranks!

We're lucky that here in Boise, apparently a lot of our own local officials and agencies had a great sense of humor and while they did attempt to prank and have fun with people on their respective social media outlets...they may have been more popular than anticipated.

Both the Boise Airport and the Boise Police Department took their stab at cracking jokes online.

Take a look at two local pranks that had the internet LAUGHING OUT LOUD on April Fools' Day in Boise!

Do you think that beyond the laughs-- the police and airport officials expected the public to actually be FANS of the ideas and jokes!?

If you've ever had to rive, bike, or walk around Boise and particularly its parks--you know all about the geese problem. Sure they're cute when they're small--but take one step too close to these things and they WILL attack.

Are they simply misunderstood? Boise Police offering up a 'Liaison Officer' to our local community of geese seems to be a popular idea. Maybe then, we can all get along?

Meanwhile--that big and beautiful rotunda at the Boise Airport? Apparently it isn't beautiful enough--because once the airport officials hung that (fake) potato from the ceiling--it seems everyone CELEBRATED! If Sacramento can have a giant rabbit...it's time Boise leans into what we're known for!
