“Thank You, Boise”: Trendy Local Restaurant Says Goodbye For Good
If there is one thing that residents here in Boise want to protect with absolutely everything they've got--it is local business. Especially local restaurants. There's something special about that favorite food destination where you can enjoy your favorite eats, oftentimes, with your favorite people.
As Boise continues to grow and diversify, local restaurants continue to expand and offer new tastes, flavors, and cultures here in the Boise area.
Unfortunately, one of our local favorites is closing down for good--soon.
Take a look at the local spot closing its doors for good, in just days..

We're going to miss the flavor, culture, and rooftop of Wepa Cafe.
The author of this article went to Wepa for the first time with his boss that got fired here recently. The food there was delicious and it became a place to visit and enjoy with friends that loved trying new cuisines! He'll miss the food, but not that guy!!
The restaurant shared on their Facebook page, the following:
The journey started back in 2018 with an idea and a $0.89 notebook. From the bottom of my heart, thank you! Thank you to every guest who walked through our doors, every staff member who brought passion to the kitchen and dining room, and every vendor who helped bring Wepa to life. To our loyal regulars—your smiles, stories, and support made this journey unforgettable. And to the amazing Garden City community: I am deeply proud to be part of your growth and transformation.
Wepa Cafe's final day will be Saturday, July 26th.
Wepa Cafe isn't the only business to shut it doors in the Boise area so far this year:
