Idaho is definitely one of the most beautiful states to live in. There are beautiful views almost everywhere you go throughout the state and it’s almost magical to see. Driving down some of the most magical roads in Idaho is something that everyone should experience at least once in their lives.
Especially considering from the outside looking in Idaho is rated very high as one of the best states for roadtrips in the entire country.

There's a lot to do with Idaho being one of the best states to road trip in.
Idaho is ranked 30th for lowest prices of a three-star hotel room, 24th for vehicle miles traveled per Capita, 2nd for car thefts per capita, 7th for access to scenic byways, 22nd for lowest price of camping, and 14th for fatalities per 100 million vehicle miles traveled.
All of this leads to the state being the 7th best for roadtrips in the entire country.

Snake River Canyon Scenic Byway is one of the most famous roads in all of Idaho. Oregon Trail-Bear Scenic Byway from McCammon to Fish Haven and features beautiful waters and beaches and even state parks. Hells Canyon Scenic Byway from Cambridge to Hells Canyon Dam is a beautiful byway that takes you through Hells Canyon National Recreation Area. Lost Gold Trails Loop in Dubois is a historic road that takes people back in history to the Gold Rush. Payette River Scenic Byway from Eagle to New Meadows is one of our favorite byways with lots of amazing views.
