Beloved Idaho Reptile Zoo Faces Closure, Hopes to Find New Home
If Treasure Valley residents love ONE thing, it's local business. One of the greatest ways that we are able to show our support for our neighbors and our greater community is by supporting local business and it's something that us 'locals' just love to do.
One very special local business is 'going through it' right now. Changes passed down from property management have put them in a position to begin seeking a new location--not something that they had planned on.

Do you or your kids love reptiles!?
The Idaho Reptile Zoo has been a popular destination for kids, classrooms, and families alike. They offer an up close and safe approach to reptiles that otherwise, you may never get to experience! People simply love the business and their passionate team of professionals.
In a statement on Facebook, the Reptile Zoo informed its fans of the upcoming changes and closure:
Our current landlord has deemed us unable to operate in our current facility due to us (after 5 years) not being a good use for the building. But while all of that is going on, our number concern is the safety of our animals. So you will be seeing us pop up at some new locations spreading out and doing what we can. We have a couple of different possibilities for our future. So don't worry too much about us... we're NOT LEAVING FOR GOOD. And before anyone asks how to help because I know you guys, and that's why we love our community. All we need is for you guys to be patient with us, and if you have or know of anyone with land, they are selling to send them our way.
Looking to support? Drop by, visit, and send any leads on a new spot to operate their way!
