What comes to mind when you think 'Idaho Vandals'?

Over the last couple of days, the Idaho Vandals have been on the minds of sports fans and the topic of water cooler talk. The famed Idaho Vandals have rebranded--at least for one night--as the 'Fightin' Taters'.

It only took MINUTES for word from the press release to make its rounds on the internet.

Take a look at the move made by the University of Idaho that has fans, and America, talking!

Can we get a 'Go Taters!'!? 

The design is courtesy of a collaboration between the University of Idaho, the Idaho Potato Commission, and 'Field Rush', an online sports blog and news site.

The Idaho Vandals are about as grassroots and 'home team' as it can get. Despite the fact that the U of I and BSU rivalry feels about as dead as it has been in years--there are no fans more passionate and loyal than Vandals.

Unlike Boise State, who is getting ripped online this week following their loss to South Florida, the Idaho Vandals are being praised as their new uniforms have officially gone viral!

Fans DEMANDED that merch be available and we thought it was shocking that it wasn't available at announce.

Now--the University has announced it is HERE.

Hats, hoodies, shirts and car decals are available in the new and viral 'Fightin' Tater' design.
