
Study Says Idaho is America’s 8th Worst State for Teen Drivers

Did you hav a car when you were a brand new driver? Or did you need to drive around in your moms mini-van?
A new study released by Wallet Hub is suggesting that now, more than ever, is a horrible time in Idaho for teen drivers and according to the stats, for the parents of teen drivers as well.

Perhaps the fact that Idaho ranking almost LAST in the country for teenage DUI's per capita is a promising sign. At least our kids aren't out drinking and driving!?
The study, which can be seen on Wallet Hub, said the following:
The financial toll is equally alarming. Crashes involving teens between 13 and 19 years old lead to approximately $40.7 annually in medical bills and lost productivity. This figure doesn’t even account for ongoing expenses like vehicle maintenance, rising insurance premiums, traffic tickets, and other related costs that can accumulate quickly.To help parents protect both their teens and their wallets, WalletHub evaluated the teen-driving environment in all 50 states across 23 key metrics.
