Idaho’s ‘Reptile Guy’ & More to Raise Funds for Local Foster Kids
The Treasure Valley knows how to step up for a good cause and this weekend we're hoping that you might be willing to do the same--while having some serious fun!
The first ever 'CASA Carnival' will be taking place in Caldwell at the new event enter just near the Canyon County Fair Ground (110 County Fair Avenue, Caldwell) and is set to take place from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 2nd!

Join us for some FUNdraising for the kids of CASA of SW Idaho! CASA of SW Idaho serves over 700 children who have been rescued out of severe neglect and abuse. They serve the 3rd Judicial District of Idaho, (Adams, Canyon, Gem, Owyhee, Payette and Washington counties), They are working tirelessly in your community to keep kids safe and standing by them until they find their forever home
Obviously, the works of CASA here in the State of Idaho are impactful-- as a non-profit group, these folks stand along side children that are in foster care, to be a resource and insure that these kids are in loving and thriving homes. These advocates speak up for the interests and needs of children and as a result of this work, foster children are twice as likely to find loving, permanent, and safe homes at the end of their cases.
It seems only fitting that this year's fundraiser for CASA is focused around the family--their focus!
The full day "Carnival" will offer families a chance to get out of the house and into some family fun, featuring Corbin Maxey, Idaho's own 'Reptile Guy' that has been on The Today Show, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and more!
As for prizes--there is literally thousands of dollars worth of amazing prizes and experiences up for grabs. Everything from date nights to photography sessions, family fun tickets to an Idaho Steelheads package!
