Caldwell Mexican Restaurant With ‘Cult-Like Following’ Announces New Ownership

Changes to one of the Treasure Valley's most popular Mexican retaurants have been announced recently on social media and thus far, despite the change, the community has been very supportive.

If you're a true 'local' in the area, we're almost certain that you've been to Imelda's. Considered a 'hidden gem' by some and a total staple by others, Imelda's Mexican Food right across from the College of Idaho has long served some of the best tacos and more, anywhere in the area!

Imelda's, for years, has been an absolute favorite in Caldwell and the greater Treasure Valley! 

After a week of ownership, the restaurant shared on social media: 

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!  Our very first week open has been absolutely incredible — and it’s all because of YOU! Your smiles, support, and visits made it so special. We’re truly grateful to everyone who stopped by.  We’re open this week Monday through Saturday, 9 AM - 3 PM — come see us! Whether you’re grabbing your favorite taco or burrito, or just saying hi, we’d love to see you again.  Drop by soon — your next visit is already making our day better in advance!
