Idaho Owners Of This Game Console Just Scored FREE Movies, Shows
The makers of a popular gaming console just gave owners access to a massive library of movies, live sports, news channels, and streaming shows. If you own a PlayStation 5 in the United States (PS5), you just won a free 100-channel lottery. The free content will include ads.
While I'm not a massive video game player anymore, I'm almost tempted to drop some cash on a new PlayStation 5 console. Sony has just unlocked a large amount of content for its PS5 owners to access through their My PlayStation Accounts.
The announcement from Sony broke on August 31 in a press release. The service is now available for all PS5 owners who have created an adult account.
PlayStation 5 Owners Now Have Access To 100 Channels Of Content
The deal Sony struck also makes content like anime, podcasts, documentaries, on-demand, weather channels, and other programming instantly available, according to the release by Grace Chen, a company head.

To access this service, PS5 users need to click the 'Media' tab, followed by 'Live TV on PS5.' That should give account subscribers direct access to the newly offered channels.
Featured channels include the NHL channel, the UFC channel, FilmRise, Crunchyroll, Meateater TV, and many others, according to playstation.com.
For those who don't mind streaming content with occasional ads, this will be a nice addition to the PS5 console. There are no additional fees for the service for those enrolled in an account.
