Jared Leto Loves That Joker…And Wants Him To Face Batman

If Jared Leto has his way, it won't be the last time you'll be seeing him portray the Clown Prince on the big screen.

There is a LOT of hype surrounding Leto playing the Joker, who just so happens to be the arch enemy of Batman (currently being played by Ben Affleck). It would be a shame to see Leto's Joker in Suicide Squad, but not in the next Batman film...right? Leto thinks so:

I hope Suicide Squad is an introduction and not the end! Because I could easily just play the Joker a couple more times and then retire. Because it’s so fulfilling and so creative and it’s so imaginative. It’s really difficult to think about doing anything else! I think it would be incredible to see Batman and the Joker go head-to-head! This Batman [Ben Affleck] and this Joker. I mean, I don’t know, that might be too much! But that would be fun.

Affleck is set to appear in 'Justice League' as Batman, and possibly in a stand-alone film to follow. No word yet on Leto revisiting the Joker in future films yet.
