After four dozen allegations of sexual misconduct, Harvey Weinstein has reportedly resigned from the board of the Weinstein Company, the company announced on Tuesday (Oct. 18).  R&B singer John Legend feels it’s a step in the right direction and hopefully a bigger change will come out of it.

In a brief interview with TMZ, Legend was asked how he felt about Harvey resigning from the company.

“He shouldn’t be working in Hollywood if he’s abusing his position that way,” he said. “It’s good that we are bringing light to this issue and hopefully more women will be able to tell their stories and men need to listen and change their behavior."

Legend was also asked about his wine vineyard in California's Napa Valley, where raging wildfires are destroying homes and communities.

The R&B singer isn't worried about his grapes, he's more concerned about the people who are now without homes.

"I just wish the people in Napa Valley well, because a lot of people are suffering," he said.
