Earlier this summer, Kat returned to Spain, where she had spent weeks gallivanting through ancient European streets and countryside’s on a scooter.

Here in Boise, her scooter topped out around 40 miles per hour — that simply wasn't going to cut it any longer.

Thankfully, Kat knew where to turn. Ralph and Kathy of Scooters of Boise allowed Kat to try three if their best scooters for just a taste of what the world of scooters has to offer. Kat took turns riding the Buddy 170, the Lance Havana Classic and the Lance Cabo 200i.

She had no idea the diversity scooters offer, and the impact subtle changes can make on the riding experience.

"Now that I've tried a few different scooters and have an idea of how different each can feel, I would totally consider swapping out my Ruckus for something else," Kat said.  "Scooters of Boise is my go-to spot. They're so knowledgeable and genuinely care about your riding experience. It's like a family there.

"Small businesses are always my favorite, but Scooters of Boise really takes it up a notch with their customer service. If you've ever considered getting a scooter, they're the spot to go. Their variety and understanding is second to none. Plus, they do free test rides!"

Check out Scooters of Boise on Curtis, just north of Franklin, or online at scootersofboise.com. Test rides are free!
