Kuna Days Announces Postponement, New Dates
Kuna! We're excited to hear that THIS popular event isn't going anywhere...but just getting rescheduled. I was talking to Rachelle on the phone today here in the studio--she won our Tickets & Tanlines giveaway at 5pm--and she was telling me all about how much she looks forward to Kuna Days each year. While I was a Nampa kid, myself, I remember going out to the parade as a kid and then how fun the street party used to be-- there was even lawn mower racing! You know how to party, Kuna!
Just announced this afternoon via their Facebook page, the event won't be canceled, but rather, postponed!
The new dates for Kuna Days are October 2nd and 3rd!
In an effort to not compete with a lot of events being rescheduled for September, the team at Kuna Days chose early October and to be honest, I'm totally with the fall vibes for this event!
In their Facebook post, they wrote:
Good afternoon!
With the state regulations with COVID-19 we are forced to move back Kuna Days..... We do not want to cancel the event at all and want everyone to have a chance to participate in Kuna Days. We see that a lot of summer events are rescheduled for September, so we want to make sure we do not compete with those events, if by chance you are also attending those. So we have decided to move Kuna Days to October 2nd and 3rd, 2020. That will give us plenty of time to see where we are at with our state regulations.
We refuse to let this event fizzle out and hope that everyone is able to attend and be a part of it. The hours may change a little, since it will be darker sooner but we will also have plenty of lighting in the park.
The Schedule will stay the same as far as set up and entertainment. We will continue to have the Family Movie Night, Fun Run, Parade, Kids Carnival and more.
