School is back in session, shorts are on the sale racks and a month left to slide at Roaring Springs means Summer is almost over. That doesn't mean we can't soak up every last sweaty moment as temperatures reach 100 degrees this week.

I found something to cool you down whether enjoying the last few days before Fall classes begin or just looking to get that dog in shape! The Idaho Humane Society has everyone covered today for See Spot Splash 2019.

The Idaho Humane Society throws this great event each year and it's a great opportunity to get that pooch the last chance to splash. This is like an end of Summer celebration for your pups at the Natatorium pool off Warm Springs in Boise.

This event doesn't cost but there is a limit to the number of dogs which shocked me. I'm not thrown off by having a limit but the fact that there could be over 60 dogs per hour 🐶The Idaho Humane Society will be taking donations that help benefit local dog parks and the IHC. There is a waiver you can download at the link below.

Here's what you'll need to know

  • Leashes are a must.
  • No aggressive dogs or females in heat.
  • Collars must be left on when swimming.
  • No kids under 18 without an adult.
  • There is a 2 dog limit per owner.
  • You can't swim with your furry friends.

This event is today from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Natatorium Pool located at 1811 Warm Springs Avenue, Boise, ID 83702.
