Local Business Makes Meal Prep Easy

Nearly a year ago, I noticed myself GAINING weight. What a painful realization that can be. It shatters your world a little bit but then, of course, you have to decide what the next step is.

For me, it was nutrition. I stepped back and realized how poorly I was treating my body with food. I get to work in the morning and sometimes, I don't even leave the building again until I'm off of the air, at midnight. So what does that mean for food? I found it was anywhere that delivers or a vending machine. Not the best options by any means. Believe me-- I tried to eat healthily. With my lifestyle, it wasn't working. In fact, I may as well have thrown money out my window. Nearly every week I was tossing out chicken and salad from my refrigerator at home that I hadn't even touched. Meal prep is NOT easy.

So I googled "meal prep Boise" one day and discovered Feed My Fit. Locally owned and operated, Feed My Fit prepares healthy meals and delivers them right to your door-- cooked. Some of those online food subscription boxes that you see on social media or hear advertising in your favorite podcasts might sound great--but at the end of the day, you still have to find time to cook them. I just don't have time for that.

Let me be clear when I say this-- I'm a paying customer and HAVE been for several months now. This isn't some business plug. It took some time for me to figure out how I was going to budget in Feed My Fit each month-- but hindsight is 20/20. I now realize I'm saving MORE money by not going to the grocery store. I haven't stepped foot into a grocery store in over six months. It's great.

Every Feed My Fit meal has labeled with total calories, protein, carbs, and fat facts. That makes it easy to know what you're consuming. Meals are made fresh and ready to heat up and eat. This place is a game changer. Now that I have gotten myself into the habit of eating strictly Feed My Fit meals-- I find on the occasion that I am out for dinner, I only make healthy choices. Anything greasy or heavy on bread just makes my stomach hurt now. One of my favorite aspects of the service is the variety of meals, too. While Feed My Fit does offer food delivery service still, just recently the business opened up a retail location off of the Meridian exit on I-84. The location is meant to supplement their already up and running business-- maybe you live outside of the delivery zone or MAYBE you forgot your own meal prep that day. Feed My Fit's new location will have all of their same awesome foods ready to roll.
