Local Red Cross Needs Blood Donations

The Red Cross right here in the Treasure Valley is seeking help from the community--lucky for them, when there's a call for help, our community always rises to the occasion.

By now, I think it is safe to say that we can all comfortably blame COVID-19 for just about everything that has happened this far in 2020. With folks staying in more, breaking their regular routines, and an increased number of people fighting illness right now, the blood bank, locally is up. According to Idaho News, the demand for blood from local banks is actually UP by a whopping 30%.

If you've never donated blood before, now is the time. If this is something that you have done in the past, the Red Cross is asking you rise up and help once again.

When you donate, all CDC guidelines are being followed and you can easily set up an appointment that will get you in and out.
