Shocking Video Of Bear Swimming In Idaho Lake Goes Viral [Video]

Despite school being started up for most people in Idaho it's definitely still summer here. The weather has still been very hot meaning all of the best summer activities are still available. We've been sharing so many fun things to do during the summer like going to Roaring Springs, the Boise River, or even to Lucky Peak.

Turns out people living in Idaho aren't the only ones overheating. Spotted also hanging out at Lucky Peak this summer was a bear.

@ktvb7Haley Carter captured these videos of a bear swimming near the Lucky Peak, between Spring Shores Marina and Arrowrock Dam, on Saturday around noon. She says the bear swam from one side of lake to the other, adding it got out of the lake, and ran up the hill. The Idaho Department of Fish and Game says it’s a rare sighting to see a bear swimming across the lake.♬ original sound - KTVB

We couldn't believe our eyes when we saw this video. Obviously, Lucky Peak is a hotspot for people to visit during the summer as the cool water is the perfect way to cool down during the hot summer. But one girl by the name of Haley Carter was also hanging out at Lucky Peak when she saw a bear doing the same exact thing.

The bear swam from one side of the lake to the other this last Saturday around noon. The bear was spotted between Spring Shores Marina and arrow Rock Dam and once it crossed the lake it ran up the hill. We were shocked to see this and we weren't the only ones as well as KTVB confirms with Idaho Department of Fish and Game that this is a rare sighting to see a bear swimming across the lake.
