Major NFL Star To Host Golf Tournament In Idaho This Summer

Boise State football has a tendency to have great football players. This past year was no different as Ashton Jeanty stole the show and quickly became one of the country's favorite players. Ashton Jeanty was truly Boise State's hero and someone that our entire city raved about.

This is not the first time we've had a great football player though as many of the Boise State football players have been power houses in the NFL.

Everyone was stoked to see the NFL wide receiver back in Boise just a few months and he was very willing to take pictures and meet with fans. He was spotted hanging out 2 nights in a row in downtown Boise bar, Amsterdam Lounge.

Khalil Shakir who was once a wide receiver for Boise State has been a star on the Buffalo Bills this past season. Bills Mafia has grown to be a fan of Khalil Shakir and as cool as it is to see him in New York with the Bills he will always be a Boise State Bronco.

Now  Khalil Shakir is coming back to the Treasure Valley but this time it's for something a little different. He is going to be hosting the Khalil Shakir Invitational Classic in Caldwell! It is the the Shakir Family Foundation’s largest fundraiser and it's happening hear in Idaho. It takes place on June 7 at the TimberStone Golf Course in Caldwell, Idaho.
