Man Wanted For Shoving Elderly Idaho Man is Hollywood Celeb

It's a story we couldn't make up if we tried-- but it's a serious one.

Nampa Police continue to search for a man that last week, shoved an elderly man to the ground.

Here's a look at the incident that took place in a Nampa parking lot just one week ago:

The video--and the scene--is horribly difficult to watch.

It doesn't matter what the encounter was over in the parking lot--there is nothing that can justify this kind of behavior and he must be held accountable for doing this to a vulnerable member of our community.

The following statement was made on Facebook by the Nampa Police Department:

Today at approximately 11:45, in a parking lot in front of District 208, the man in this video pushed an elderly man to the ground after they exchanged words about a parking issue. After pushing the man down, the suspect left him on the ground and drove away in a raised up black 4 door truck with Texas license plate. You can see part of the truck in the video.

Since originally sharing this statement and the video--we've since learned that the man wanted by police is 35-year-old Hector David Rivera.

Plot twist: he's a...celebrity?

Apparently, from 2011-2015, Rivera played the green Power Ranger and was in Idaho for an appearance at the Magic Valley Comic-Con.

What got into this Power Ranger gone rogue? Who knows--but at this time, police continue to look for him and a warrant is in the process of being served for his arrest.
