Anymore, there is a day or a month for just about anything. Whether it's a week dedicated to left handed people with freckles or a month dedicated to charitable cause. Who comes up with these things? Nobody really knows. Overall, however, all of them are fun, joyful, and/or meaningful and we are HERE FOR IT.
Did you know that each year, May is 'Mental Health Month'?

Is work a little too much? Maybe school is wearing you down or you're just doing human being things on planet earth and aren't feeling like your best self. Perhaps Mental Health Month can be a reason for you to focus on what matters: you.

Do any of these sound productive to you?
Getting outside for some fresh air is always a great idea--but sometimes going a step further to explore the 'why' or 'meaning' of life can be really beneficial. There's something magic about building a relationship with a trusted professional and having the ability to speak your mind, openly, in a safe space--where you may find yourself unpacking things about yourself that you love (and maybe don't even know it) or want to improve!
Of course, far too many of us have known someone that didn't seek help--maybe they harmed themselves or took their own lives. This is never the answer.
Help is available in Idaho by dialing 988.
