Meridian High Speed Police Chase Caught on Camera [Video]

There's always SOMETHING happening on the internet here in Idaho and today, some 'crime drama' ensued. Bad driver spotted? Yeah...you could say that.

'Caught this right as I was turning onto Meridian Road', a local Facebook user wrote.

A full blown police chase was taking place in the middle of a rainy Monday afternoon here in the Treasure Valley--broad daylight! The car attempting to escape even had their four-way hazard lights on...for added safety?

Imagine coming around the corner and seeing a high speed chase unfolding right before your eyes in Meridian, Idaho of all places. Apparently, today, that was the case and it's surprising just about everyone.

Authorities booked a 20-year-old female into the Ada County Jail with a felony charge for trying to escape police. Two misdemeanors followed--Driving Under the Influence and Resisting Arrest.

Where can one even escape the police in the Treasure Valley?

While the pursuit continued on through Meridian, it did eventually come to an end. The comments on Facebook are certainly colorful and entertaining--but at the end of the day, the community is beyond thankful for the Meridian Police Department as they were able to bring the pursuit to a close safely and without injury.
