Modest Mouse Postpones Boise Concert

Modest Mouse, has for a long time, been one of my favorite bands. I'm in no way, shape, or form some sort of expert on their discography--but their vibe is just too contagious and fun. When I saw that their show would be at the Botanical Gardens here in Boise, I got super excited because it's literally the PERFECT venue for them. The rain today didn't make for ideal concert conditions...and if you were dying to see them like I was, without the rain-- you might just be in luck.

No, you won't get to see Modest Mouse this week...the show has been POSTPONED. But they've promised to reschedule and will be back in 2020. It is bittersweet news, but here's to hoping for better weather and an awesome show on the other side of the new year!

If you bought tickets and want a refund, those are available now at point of sale. Today in the Facebook Event Page, the band posted:

 

 

This show has been POSTPONED.

Due to the unexpected timing of the birth of a child in the Modest Mouse family, the band has to cancel their appearance in Boise tomorrow. Modest Mouse are truly sorry for the late notice and inconvenience but promise to return soon with a makeup performance. Please stay tuned for an announcement of a new date in 2020 and tickets purchased for tomorrow’s show will be honored for the rescheduled date. In the meantime, refunds can be honored at point of purchase.
