Moo-ving Violation? Boise Police Wrangle Cows Roaming The Town
When late night police calls and late night police response makes headlines--it's typically never for a good reason.
In the middle of the night, most should be asleep. People are resting for the next work day or perhaps working the thankless graveyard shifts.
Police sirens in the middle of the night? Never a good sign.
Two local police agencies had to team up for a response last week for a very strange call...
Take a look at the statement shared by the Boise Police Department, below:
Oh you know, just Idaho things! Last week with the help of @gardencitypolicedepartment a few of our night shift officers helped escort about a dozen Black Angus cows back home, after they made some early morning moooves, escaping from a small farm near Fairview and N. Kimball St.
What would you do if you saw some black angus walking around the city in the middle of the night?
You read this right--some big 'ol cows had escaped their home for a late night stroll o the town and police had to team up to get them back home.
The response was far from an 'emergency' but rather an example of our local law enforcement serving the community in a very 'Idaho' kind of way.
