For some of us, the last girls night out we got to enjoy pre-pandemic was at the Morrison Center. We're THRILLED to that our friends there are preparing for the upcoming Broadway in Boise season.

The Bachelor: Live on Stage was one of the final two performances to take place at The Morrison Center in 2020. Hosted by Bachelor alums Ben Higgins and Becca Kufrin, the show took place just eight days before Idaho's first reported case of COVID-19. Idaho was one of the last states in the country to confirm a case, but because the show was traveling city to city, the Morrison Center was already working to keep the cast safe. During the post show meet and greet, cast members were separated from guests by stanchions and there were no hugs for Bachelor Nation.

The Boise Philharmonic performed their Disney in Concert show on Saturday, March 7. Less than a week later it was clear that the remaining Morrison Center performances for 2020 would either be canceled or postponed.

The decision, while necessary, broke a lot of theater lovers' hearts because the upcoming Broadway in Boise series featured one of the most buzzed about line-ups in recent history. Why? Because the traveling production of the critically acclaimed show Hamilton was finally coming to the Treasure Valley.

Luckily, Hamilton was one of the shows put on the postponed list. With the COVID-19 situation in the Treasure Valley improving, the Morrison Center is moving ahead with new dates for the 2021/2022 series. They've had to tweak he line-up a little bit (Dear Evan Hansen has been added to this season. Come From Away will be moved to a future season.)

Fans who have already subscribed for the season will have their tickets moved to the new dates without having to do anything themselves. Those hoping to subscribe to the season can do so HERE. The on-sale dates for individual shows will be announced closer to the production.
