As we all work through this global pandemic together, one thing is for sure--uncertainty REMAINS in the air. Perhaps you lost a job, lost a significant amount of business, had friends lose THEIR jobs, or are currently employed and nervous because you've watched all of the changes around you. That just seems to be the theme of the year so far.

A huge operation in Nampa, Idaho, is now hiring for nearly 100 positions and in a time where a lot of people need a job, second job, and so forth--this is great news. Even better? New hires will be given a $500 signing bonus. Who gets THOSE anymore?

Lactalis American Group, better known here in the Treasure Valley as "the cheese factory" is hiring nearly 100 people-- as they have 75 job openings after a $1.7 million expansion project at the Nampa campus.

The jobs that are available for hire right now run a wide gamut. There is everything from foreman work, forklift driving work, to managers, production supervisors, and packaging specialists.

There's also going to be a job fair from 10:00a.m. until 7:00p.m. on Wednesday, September 30th at the Ford Idaho Center, in the parking lot.  Anyone interested in the hiring event should bring a resume and be prepared for an interview.

I'll know you're a real one if you remember when you could actually GO to the cheese factory to hangout. If you're a local, you know there used to be a really great breakfast restaurant upstairs at the facility-- I still remember what it smelled like!
