Tragedy struck and the world couldn't believe their eyes when headlines printed. Four University of Idaho students murdered in the quiet of night -- all stabbed to death -- and not a witness or clue in sight.

The entire globe followed the investigation and it was the story around the world. A house just steps away from the campus of the University of Idaho became a fixture on the nightly news and after weeks of investigation, an arrest was made across the country, in Pennsylvania.

Brian Kohberger has been in custody, accused of these murders, ever since.

For those following along with the case at home--it's been nothing by a 'paper-pushing' nightmare. With case as intense and as large as there, there are a TON of administrative procedures to be done and there is no room for error.

Now, a new twist: the trial has been moved away from Moscow, Idaho and down to Boise, Idaho's Ada County Courthouse.

Just this week, new trial date timelines have been outlined by the new judge assigned to the case.

In a publicly uploaded court document which is partially redacted, Voir dire, the process of interviewing potential jurors, is set to begin on July 30th, 2025 at 9:00 a.m.

Judge Steven Hippler also wrote the the trial will commence on August 11, 2025 and will run through November 7th of 2025.

Many people following the case have been impressed with how thorough and 'to the point' Hippler is--noting that even the daily times for trial are outlined in the document.

Hard deadlines were also set for many different pieces of the trial--including hearings and different types of evidence and discovery reviews.
