New Treat Brings A Sweet Shake-Up to Idaho Girl Scout Cookie Season
It is perhaps the most anticipated launch of the entire year and while it's a nationwide fascination, here in the Treasure Valley it is no different. In the coming months, you're going to begin to see the Facebook posts appear and the desperation arise:
DOES ANYONE KNOW A GIRL SCOUT!?
Yes, we're speaking of the OFFICIAL Girl Scout Cookie Season and while it is still several months away--an announcement today has excitement at a high, already.
Take a look at the official announcement from the Girl Scouts of Silver Sage, here in Idaho, below:
The Girl Scouts of Silver Sage are a vital part of our community. Not only do they constantly keep our shelves stocked with the addictive sweet treats, but they're a great group of young, female entrepreneurs and future leaders that make a difference in our area by various kinds of volunteer work and service. We love them to death!
As cookie season approaches the new 'Exploremores' are going to be a topic of discussion and fanfare.
Described as being inspired by 'Rocky Road Ice Cream', the cookies feature chocolate, marshmello, and toasted almond flavored creme and yes, they'll be available in-person at local cookie booths.
You may recall that the S'more's and Toast-Yay cookies were recently retired. So, this new one will enter the stage with lots of pressure!
Don't worry, classic cookie fans--the Thin Mint is going NOWHERE.
We know plenty of Girl Scouts and can't wait to share in all of the cookie news with you as it continues to get closer.
