Boise State football has a tendency to have great football players. This past year was no different as Ashton Jeanty stole the show and quickly became one of the country's favorite players. Ashton Jeanty was truly Boise State's hero and someone that our entire city raved about.

This is not the first time we've had a great football player though as many of the Boise State football players have been power houses in the NFL.

Just last night Kellen Moore won a Super Bowl as the Eagles offensive coordinator.

Over the weekend? Another NFL star familiar with Boise was spotted hanging in town!

Did you see Khalil out and about?

Everyone was stoked to see the NFL wide receiver back in Boise and he was very willing to take pictures and meet with fans. He was spotted hanging out 2 nights in a row in downtown Boise bar, Amsterdam Lounge.

Khalil Shakir who was once a wide receiver for Boise State has been a star on the Buffalo Bills this past season. Bills Mafia has grown to be a fan of Khalil Shakir and as cool as it is to see him in New York with the Bills he will always be a Boise State Bronco.

Sadly Khalil Shakir and the Bills were eliminated in the AFC Championship game by the Kansas CIty Chiefs. While we are sure that Khalil would be wanting to play in the Super Bowl instead he spent the weekend hanging out in Downtown Boise.

Shakir was also spotted at a local restaurant -- see their shoutout, below!

Kellen Moore: Dominance Over The Years

Kellen Moore's 50 career victories as the starting quarterback at Boise State University remain the most by any QB in NCAA football history. Moore, who was touted as one of the most brilliant minds in college football has now taken those brains to the NFL where Dallas fans can't get enough of him.
